Vacation @ Kerala

Hi all...This is Satish meeting you after a long vacation.
I had been to kerala with my  better half and each one who is reading this blog must visit it.....Munnar & Thekaddy are around 3000 ft above sea level....very very Thanda Thanda Cool Cool, and the Alleppy the biggest lake from kerala, everywhere water, coconut trees, and aound 1000 Housebaots...MAST EKDAM...what an amazing experience...and ultimaely fried Pomphret...very very tasty..Woooowwww....Yummyyy... :) :)

Avalanche buries 10 soldiers in Siachen Ten soldiers have been buried under snow after their camp in the northern part of the Siachen glacier was hit by a major avalanche on Wednesday 03/02/2016. According to preliminary information, the avalanche struck the camp located in the northern Siachen Glacier, at a height of 19,600 feet, in the early hours of Wednesday. “The post was manned by a Junior Commissioned Officer and nine soldiers,” a senior Army officer said. Rescue operations by specialised teams of the Army and the Air Force are under way, and are being coordinated from Leh and Udhampur. The Supreme Court’s decision to hear in open court curative petitions – the last legal recourse available to litigants – on Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) is an opportunity for it to rectify the mistake of re-criminalising homosexuality in the country. Typically, judges decide a curative petition after discussing it among themselves through a procedure called “hearing by circulation”. The fact that the top court has departed from established practice of not hearing oral submissions on curative petitions is perhaps a judicial acknowledgement of changing social realities on the contentious issue. The law Section 377 of IPC -- which came into force in 1862 -- defines unnatural offences.
